Valentina Palmiotti, aka chompie, is a hacker and security researcher focused on low-level vulnerabilities, exploit development, and reverse engineering. She has discovered and exploited vulnerabilities across a wide range of targets, including authentication protocols, operating system kernels, and mobile platforms. She has spoken at top security conferences around the world and won at prestigious hacking competitions like Pwn2Own. She currently leads IBM X-Force Offensive Research (XOR), a team of expert hackers who search for vulnerabilities in widely used software, hardware, and firmware.
